Survival Probabilities and Gross Returns

Ferry Locks offers four exit choices, each with distinct survival chances at successive stages. Exit 1 has an 80% survival rate and pays 1.2x gross. Exit 2 offers 75% survival for a 1.6x gross return. Exit 3 provides a two-thirds chance for a 2.4x payout. Exit 4 requires 50% survival for a 4.8x gross return. Failure at any stage returns zero, and you cannot exit manually during the round. The score function confirms that survival rates of 0.8, 0.6, 0.4, and 0.2 align with these gross multipliers.

Stake Deduction and Wallet Arithmetic

A stake is deducted once at the start of a round and persists even if you reload. The payout is computed in hundredths, allowing for fractional carry. This fractional amount is stored separately and added to the floor of whole coins credited to your balance. The remainder, between 0 and 99, is kept for the next round. If your balance drops below 10 while idle, you may manually restore it to 1000 coins. This reset sets the balance to 1000 rather than adding that amount. Unfinished rounds are discarded without refund upon reload.

Simulation Evidence and Settlement

Simulation data from one million rounds shows expected RTPs of 96 for all choices. Simulated results ranged from 95.70 to 96.13, confirming the theoretical expectations. Settlement is automatic upon reaching the chosen exit or the end of the reveal. You cannot stop the round manually or use autoplay. Controls for stake, start, and mode are disabled while the round is active. The game uses virtual coins with no cash value, and no cashier is involved in the original demo.

Frequently asked questions

Does reloading the page refund my stake?

No. The stake remains deducted, and any unfinished round is discarded without refund or the ability to resume.

How is the fractional carry handled?

Fractional hundredths are persisted separately. They are added to the floor of whole coins credited, with the remainder kept for future rounds.
