Game Scope and Virtual Coins

The Ferry Locks demo uses virtual coins that have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn. You start with an initial balance of 1000 coins, which are stored locally in your browser. There is no cashier, deposit, or withdrawal system because this is a free-to-play simulation. The game allows you to choose an exit lock from 1 to 4 before starting. Each lock has independent survival chances: 80 percent, 75 percent, two-thirds, and 50 percent respectively. Reaching your chosen exit yields a gross return of 1.2x, 1.6x, 2.4x, or 4.8x. Failure results in zero return. Stakes can be set to 10, 25, 50, or 100, with 25 as the default. You cannot manually exit during a round once it begins.

Settlement and Wallet Mechanics

When a round starts, the stake is deducted immediately and persists even if you reload. Gross returns include the original stake. Payouts are computed in hundredths, with fractional carry saved separately. Whole coins are credited to your balance, while the remainder stays as fractional carry. If your balance drops below 10 coins while idle, you can manually restore it to 1000 coins. This restoration sets the balance rather than adding to it. Automatic settlement occurs at the chosen exit or the end of the reveal. There is no autoplay or manual stop feature. Controls for stake, start, and mode selection are disabled while a round is active.

Reload Rules and Local Storage

Reloading the page discards any unfinished round without refund or resumed settlement. The stake remains deducted from your balance upon reload. The demo saves your whole virtual wallet, fractional hundredths, and a pending-round flag in local storage. Clearing cache removes this data. The game is intended for an audience aged 18 and older, though there is no enforced age gate. Frequently asked questions

What happens to my stake if I reload the page mid-round?

The stake is deducted immediately upon starting. If you reload, the unfinished round is discarded without a refund, and the stake remains lost.

How does the manual refill work?

You can manually restore your balance to 1000 coins only when idle and when your balance falls below 10 coins. This sets your balance to 1000 rather than adding 1000 to your current amount.
